This year I planted Purple Haze carrots in the garden again. I loved them the first time I planted them three years ago, but I couldn't get myself to order just the carrot seeds the second year, when the shipping was more than the seeds. We got Oscar a new friend. We found a cute little albino red oscar that isn't even as big as Oscar's tail fin. So far so good. The little five-bar cichlids are more interested in him than Oscar is.

Two days ago, after having lost our bunny a few years ago, and due to the extreme cuteness of a homeless hamster (which I won't go into), Gerry and I got another bunny.
